The geese say it is spring!

I know for some of you it does not feel like spring yet and we actually still have snow on the ground here too! HOWEVER when the geese start laying then that means spring is here, despite what the weather may tell you otherwise!

Found one of the geese guarding these two eggs earlier this week. I did not take them from her until she had left the nest! The eggs were cold and it is a little early to let them sit on any. Caleb was very excited to be able to have a goose egg for breakfast again!

In other news, the Suburban has been in the shop (garage) for the last two days. Richard was on a 48hour shift so was able to take it to two different places close to the ambulance base. First day it had to have a brake controller fitted, receiver hitch plug and an anti-sway attachment. Yesterday he took it somewhere else to have new front brakes, oil change and an extra transmission cooler so an expensive two days but now it is ready to tow a trailer efficiently and safely. Still have the truck to sell so no new trailer yet.
