Which would you rather eat?!
Happy Thanksgiving to those of you reading this here in the USA. Our Royal Palm turkey was GOOD & there is plenty left over for pie tomorrow & something else the day after. Along with roast potatoes and bread sauce we had organic carrots, fresh brussel sprouts & broccoli. All rather yummy! NO pumpkin pie here – the roast meal was more than enough to fill us all.
I have a confession to make 🙂 Last week we had to purchase a pound of butter from the grocery store! AAGH! We had made two batches of Lemon Curd the week before & that uses 4lbs of butter so we had run short. A couple days later Michelle made some butter & once again, although we already knew it, we were once amazed at the color difference.
You can see which butter was created by the cow out in the sunshine on a healthy diet of grass & hay! (If you can’t figure it, I will give you clue. Millie’s butter is the one on the right 🙂 🙂 )
