Richard is home!

What a nice surprise we had this morning when Richard’s surgeon came in and said everything was looking good and Richard could go home! SO thrilled! Richard is sore and tired but glad of some peace and quiet after the noise of the hospital ward. He feels much better after a shower too!

The recliner will be his chair and bed for a few days whilst he continues to heal but he is doing REALLY well. Home here he will be able to walk more frequently which will be good. He does have a LOT of fluid to get rid of but that is normal.

He has a follow up appointment on Thursday. Once that is over, and we are given the final “All Clear”, we will make plans to get back on the road.
