What do you have living in your house?

Caleb and Daniel went out bug hunting earlier this week! You should have heard the excitement when they returned home with a lizard (actually a brown skink) and wait for it…….. a scorpion! Yes, if you didn’t know Missouri had scorpions you have now learned something. We have lived here for over 7 years and thankfully have never seen one until now. Caleb LOVES hunting for bugs and this turned out to be quite a learning (think educational) experience for him as he then researched how to tame a skink and what to feed both his captives. They are both in separate pots and he caught a moth last night to feed his skink who now has a lizard as a buddy. He also fed it a dandelion. The scorpion is being fed ants!
