Blizzards in August!

Thankfully the blizzards were not of the snowy kind. Rather, they were the sweet and cool kind 🙂 Yes, we went to Dairy Queen for a treat on Saturday due to having BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE coupons making it a reasonable price for us all. In fact this was tea. After eating a large Blizzard, we needed nothing else for the rest of the evening.

Treasure Lake has really filled up today. Why? Southern Gospel Picnic starts tomorrow! Whoo hoo! We have printed out the schedule and highlighted the groups/artists we want to see along with the time. This is important this year with three of us out working! We have planned our work schedules accordingly so we don’t miss out. Right now the weather is COOL! Wonderful walking with Hovis out on the park this evening. Caught up with some friends that we were actually parked next to last year. With folks getting older each year you wonder if you are going to see ‘so and so’ again. As we were talking to some other new friends this evening I happened to look up and catch a glimpse of Bud and Paula so once we were done socializing with one set of friends we headed over to the next place. I LOVE this time of year. Folks get together and make music of an evening. It’s just a fun couple of weeks. Even met a new couple at the Mill today that are here for SGP.

That reminds me, we just heard today that The Branson Mill has been nominated for the “Best Of Branson” award in the Craft Mall Shopping category. That is where we have our booth for ABC Photo Art. I have visited some of the other craft malls in the area and in my opinion none of them compare in quality to the Branson Mill. At The Mill there is plenty of space to walk around, demonstrators demonstrating their crafts and best of all, NO peg board. If you have the time/inclination I know Branson Mill would truly appreciate your vote. You can vote once a day from now until September 4th, 2018. Please go to The Best of Branson, locate the ‘Vote Here’ button, choose the shopping category of Craft Mall and then choose Branson Mill which was located at the bottom of the list when I voted a few minutes ago.

Blessings,

Liz
